Children In Need

Armistice Day

This year the children are showing their support by wearing what they like and donating what they wish.

Our Year Six children held our usual small service at Brightwalton Memorial to mark Armistice Day.  Rev Miri led the service, with the children laying a wreath and reciting the poem 'In Flanders Fields', before providing readings and playing the Last Post and Reveille. Several members of staff and governors attended, along with villagers and parents, including Tillie's grandfather, who is pictured with the children.

Watch this space to find out how much our sales of poppies and related items in school raised for the British Legion Poppy Appeal.
